We remain in in the north of Africa. Our next stop is
Libya which is dominated by the Sahara. The cuisine contains Milk, corn, rice and dates but also olives and olive oil. Of course no pork is eaten in
Libya but certainly lamb, veal and fish are on the menu.
The food is traditionally served on big plates. No drinks are being served during dinner. After the dinner water or milk is being passed around. The meal is being ended with coffee.
Of course the Libyan cuisine is influenced by the Berber (...)
