Once Tiger Lilly, then Mes Amis, and presto chango, now 1739 Public House. It’s an attempt at a traditional pub, but with the random artwork and cheesy water effects behind the bar it smells of a cheap and fast turnaround. Don’t get me wrong, they have plenty of beers on tap (40 in all), albiet a little flat and the CO2 needs a little tweaking, but the menu consists of primarily gastro pubish food.
