The cuisine of
Montenegro is influenced by it geographic position and by it history. The proximity to Italy with has brought Polenta for example but also a great knowledge of wine making to the country. Historically the traces of the Ottoman Empire can be found in dishes like Musaka, Pilav, Pita, Kebab but also Baklava. Even the Hungarian Gulash is part of the traditional food of
