  A few weekends ago I bought apples so that I could make apple cake. I ended up with an entire bag of apples. I couldn’t beat the price. Loose apples were .69 a pound and the bagged apples were .09 a pound. I came home with a whole bag of New York Gala apples. If you haven’t given the Gala apple a try, I highly recommend it.
