There’s just something so comforting about soft boiled eggs, served with toast soldiers. One of those simple pleasures from childhood that we can certainly enjoy in adulthood. In this case, I’ve added one more ingredient, something special for the first day of 2009. Not only have the eggs been kept with the truffle to infuse them with that lovely aroma, they are finished off with some freshly shaved truffle, to add as the mood dictates.
