My addiction to mushrooms continues to expand in yet another post…Today I give you : Akuratake mushrooms (Pleurotus cystidiosus) are of Asian origin and are commonly known as White Elf or Abalone mushrooms (when I googled Akuratake almost nothing came up). They are very pretty, don’t you think? They look like big white seashells. Akuratake belong to the same genus with Eringii and Oyster mushrooms.
