I really appreciate my parents giving me lovely home grown fruit and veg. It’s fabulous. If there is a problem it’s that when you have a fruit tree, you end up with all the fruit at once. So it is now with apricots. My parent’s apricot tree, for whatever reason gives you fruit that is only perfect for hours. There is no exaggeration in saying that, the fruit is perfectly ripe this morning, and by the evening the first sign of brown can have appeared, within another 24 hours tha (...)
