There are several things [including cooking] that regular folks should leave to the professionals. Making barquillos (wafer rolls) is one of them. I don’t know what I was thinking when I decided to make them. Oh, probably because I’m obsessed and nutty. Also because I have a small bottle of hazelnut extract and I wanted to try it in barquillos.
