Ciabatta; Ciabatta (Italian pronunciation: [t?a?bat?a], literally “carpet slipper”) is an Italian white bread made with wheat flour and yeast. The loaf is somewhat elongated, broad and flattish and, like a slipper, should be somewhat collapsed in the middle.
