Besani Bhindi (
Fried Okra with
Gram Flour )
Ingredients
500 g bhindi1 teaspoon red chilli powder1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder1 teaspoon coriander powder2 tablespoon besan (
gram flour )1 tablespoon lemon juiceOil for fryingSalt to taste
Method
Wash the bhindis and wipe with a napkin. Remove the stalks and divide into 2 lengthwise.
Mix all the ingredients along with
bhindi together.
Heat oil in a kadai / frying pan. Fry bhindis in batches on a medium heat until it becomes golden and crisp. Serve (...)
