Channa Dal Halwa

Ingredients
450 g
channa dal, soaked overnight or 5 - 6 hours4 - 5 cups water350 g sugar225 g ghee / unsweetened butter1 teaspoon ground small cardamom seeds50 g coarsely ground almonds1 cup milkSliced almonds and pistachio nuts for garnish
Method
Cook
channa dal with 4 - 5 cups of water until
dal is tender and liquid has evaporated.
Blend the
dal until evenlty mashed.
