Clare found Laura's (from Hungry and Frozen, and highly recommended student blog based in Wellington) Chocolate Guiness cake post and just had to try to make one herself. That, and a doubtful comment from Kaleb at "the other flat" spurred her on. Now, I say (not lightly) that it was the BEST chocolate cake I had ever had. Not just texture-wise, but taste wise as well.
