Petits pots au chocolat are so called for a very good reason. The ‘petits’ being the key word.
Usually when it comes to desserts, size matters. Hearty British classics are warming, filling and satisfying. Crumbles, pies and puddings, usually served with custard, are designed to keep you cosy and put some meat on your bones (and probably fur your arteries in the process).
The French, too, like it hearty and are not averse to cream and pastry and various differing ratios.
