I’ve written about the West Side Market before. I love the old style architecture, from a time when public spaces were expected to do more than just hold the roof up. But as many times as I’ve been there, I never noticed the detail above before. I was already on my way out with the kids when I noticed this, so I didn’t have time to check out the rest of them, but they were on all the columns.
