On this
daring bakers challenge I was determined to make a healthier version of the
caramel cake and I set out to do a
caramel cake without
caramel! I did this by combining maple syrup, agave and rice malt syrup! The results? Not bad! The
cake had very good texture, moist and light.Texture-wise I think it is the best
cake I have made, but flavor-wise it was a bit blunt. I mean the recipe didn’t even include vanilla! But I think it is a great canvas to work the vegan
