75 g dried tamarind2 cups ( 500 ml ) boiling water2 teaspoons cooking oil2 teaspoon mustard seeds2 teaspoon cumin seeds500 g fresh
dates , seeded , chopped¼ cup ( 60 ml ) malt vinegarSalt to taste
