When I was a youngster back in elementary school I remembered making these crafts with all my friends. They were lots of fun back then and my little ones enjoyed making them today as well.  Start out by dyeing some hard boiled eggs and peeling their shells off.   Our shells were a little on the damp side so I stuck them in the oven at 250 for about 10 minutes to get them nice and crunchy dry.
