For me,
egg salad is a comfort food. It reminds me of my childhood when my mother would pack my favorite school lunch:
egg salad sandwiches (which somehow miraculously never spoiled while sitting for hours inside my desk), a package of Hostess chocolate snowball cakes and a carton of chocolate milk to wash it all down. Ahhh pure bliss. My last meal on this earth, I hope I get the opportunity to enjoy this childhood delight one last time.
