The
Gold Medal Plates Event in Ottawa happened a few weeks ago. Unfortunately I was unable to attend since the Friday before I had surgery for thyroid cancer. In my place, I sent a close friend (my ex-husband). He took pictures, enjoyed the food, and kept me up-to-date with a bevy of text messages.
