You know, the truth is, I’m not all that into brand-name restaurants. I haven’t been to many of them here in NYC, partly because I can’t really afford it, and partly because I prefer my little French bistro where (literally) everyone knows my name. But there are exceptions. The French Laundry in Napa Valley is definitely on my bucket list, as is Per Se in New York and The Zuni Cafe in San Francisco. All fantasies for the foreseeable future.
