1. I just signed up, how does it work?
After you sign up, the administrator will visit and check your blog. Once your blog is approved (meaning it’s an awesome food blog) we will automatically fetch the latest photo of your recent post. You will normally receive a welcome email indicating that your blog has been added by the Recipe Muncher.
2. Do I need to upload my photos and recipes everytime I have a new post?
No need, the Recipe Muncher will automatically fetch from your RSS feed your newly posted photo and recipe. However, sometimes it takes time (maximum would be 24 hours). If your latest blog post did not appear within 24h you can contact us using the email adress above, there must be a problem.
3. I have signed up but I’m still not receiving my confirmation email, what do I do?
It normally takes 24 hours before your blog is added for the first time. However we have noticed that there are tons of awesome food blogs that we cannot immediately add because of their incomplete RSS feed. It is important therefore for a food blog to configure their RSS feed to a full post rather than excerpt (which is normally the case of most of food blogs). If that is the case, adjust this problem and send us an email, this will facilitate our task to add your blog.
4. Some bloggers alternate posts with non food-items, such as sales, memes, and announcements, will the post show up?
No, the Recipe Muncher will only fetch the photo if it’s a recipe or food related article.
6. How do I navigate inside the site?
When you click the photo, it will bring you the recipe’s page where you can add your comments and rate the recipe. But if you click the title of the recipe it will automatically bring you to the original blog’s recipe post.
6. How do I please the Recipe Muncher?
It is simple, by feeding him with lots and lots of good recipes. The Recipe Muncher will never get tired of your delicious recipes. Do not forget to blog about him and to talk about him, we need to spread the word. The more the merrier.
