People from Philly are almost as fanatical about our
soft pretzels as we are about cheesesteaks. The funny thing is we all agree on pretty much the exact same pretzel. And since the only way to get it here in Cleveland is to order a case online[1] I figured it was time to figure out how to make my own.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons melted butter
¼ cup baking soda
coarse sea salt
