Two things of great significance occurred today. First-up it wasn’t raining when I dribbled into consciousness; it does feel as if it has been pelting it down since those heady summer days of June. The second marvellous event was the deposit of a little internet purchasing expedition - a new lens for the Canon 7D in the form of a 10-22mm and, less exciting but by no means unimportant, a lens hood and B&W protecting filter.
