What is that smell?
It never fails, in a household of five, something stinky is always
in the kitchen trash can.
Either it’s the shrimp shells from dinner,
the babies diapers,
or food that decided to hide in the fridge so it wouldn’t get eaten.
Whatever it is, it seems as though
something always resides in there.
On those particular days when it’s quite unbearable,
and not quite full enough to be taken outside,
I sprinkle baking soda that I put into an old used up spic (...)
