Thanks to Nigella Christmas Book I have found my new favourite vanilla cake. Actually, I have to thank a cake decorating buddy on the other side of the country for finding it for me in the first place. I needed a good cake that I could make many of and this one fits the bill. Whilst the recipe states to make it in a Bundt tin I make it in two 8″ round cake tins and that therefore makes it a good economical cake in the end.
