Last Friday, 4 June was
National Doughnut Day. Apparently, it’s been practiced since the 1930s. It was started by the Salvation Army to honor a bunch of people who sent some donuts to American soldiers in World War I. And according to this article, some Canadians are envious of this American holiday.
