A chocolate chip cookie by any other name is still a chocolate chip cookie. But making it with a waffle iron certainly puts an entirely different spin on an old favorite. As you can see with the top picture, I made one large one because I wanted to see how pretty it would come out in the heart shape. Then in the picture below, I made several individual cookies.
