A bit of comfort food for Friday night! Ingredients
2 onions100g (3.5 oz) plain flour2 eggsoil150 ml (2/3 cup) milk
Preheat the oil for deep frying to 190°C/375°F.Peel and slice the onions into
rings about 1 cm wide. Separate the eggs. Combine the yolks with flour, milk and 1 tbsp oil and mix until smooth. Whisk the egg whites until stiff and fold gently into the batter. Dip the
