split gram8 - 9 cups water1 teaspoon ginger - chilli paste6 pieces of kokum4 tablespoon jaggery1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
For the Tempering:
1 tablespoon ghee2 - inch piece white radish, thinly sliced1 green chilli , slit1/4 teaspoon fenugreek seeds1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
To Garnish:
Grated coconut and coriander leaves
