I watched last night’s American Idol and I really loved Crystal Bowersox’ s People Get Ready. She and Lee DeWyze are the only ones with real talent this season. People Get Ready, first recorded in 1965, is one of my favorite recordings of the late Eva Cassidy. Eva’s voice is mellow, smooth as silk, and has more oomph. She also always hit the right notes.
