In striving for a healthier eating pattern, my search for healthier, great tasting appetizers and snacks continues.The idea for this one came from a newspaper from one of my local health food stores; I believe the original recipe was from Gale Gand. A while back I posted about Diana Kennedy’s recipe for Chilatas, a texturally interesting a delicious condiment made from a mix of toasted seeds and nuts, combined with chile powder and salt then ground into a crumbly sprinkle.
