David Copperfield wannabe had re-emerged again :-)Â
Long story short, it is time of the year where everything goes wrong and
our dear CPU decided to gave way again. But the positive side of this
catastrophy (what else can an internet addict call such incident?) is -Â
some lucky girl had been blessed with an early Christmas gift. It is small,

I love lavender, the scent and color but I have to admit I have had no experience cooking with lavender. So when I found out lavender is October’s theme of International Incident Party I was stumped. When I asked my husband for ideas, he jokingly told me to make soap so needless to say I am on my own here.
Last minute inspiration came from my pantry, a jar of vanilla sugar staring right at me.
Traditions. I did not like them when I was younger, I must tell you that. But I have learned to cherish them over the years – I guess one should get wiser as they get older, right? ![]()
One of the traditions I hold dearest is baking my sister’s birthday cake - that started several years ago, long before I even knew what a food blog was. And lately I have been sharing these cakes with you, too.
When we’re talking about chocolate ice cream, my husband is the connoiseur in our house. He’s a less is more kinda guy, and believes that "all that unnecessary stuff" (i.e. nuts, chocolate chips, etc) gets in the way of enjoying really great chocolate ice cream. In most instances I do agree with him, but there are times when nothing else satisfies me like a double scoop of Rocky Road in a waffle
I will unashamedly admit to being a chocoholic. I find it very difficult to resist the stuff, though there are exceptions to this rule. If you do want to put chocolate in front of me and ensure I do not touch it, then give me liqueur filled chocolate or very, very sweet chocolate. These are the two types of chocolate I will not touch!
Otherwise, if it’s chocolate (and vegetarian) then I’m game.
