Last month, four of us fellow food bloggers and tweeps happened to get together by chance, and decided to each explore how we could make a good Red Velvet Cake without artificial colour. We even called ourselves the Velveteers (since our mission was a Velvet Cake).

Usually when I make garlic bread,  I do my own mixture of butter, garlic salt and dried parsley or I mix in a seasoning mix I purchased at Costco called Johnny’s Garlic Bread and Seasoning.  When I made the Baked Ziti dish I wanted to try something different.  I had some sub rolls from a bakery at a grocery store that needed to be used up. So I used those thinking they look just like mini loaves
