Just a short announcement before I leave: Allen is hosting a food blogging event called “Making History.” (Details are in the link.) The object is to dig out old/favorite recipe cards and bring them to life. If you don’t have any, there are already quite a number on the Recovered Recipes site; in fact I have a recipe card submission of my own there (a family favorite) that maybe you’d like to try. Deadline is October 17 midnight PST.

I’m not able to make an entry for this (yet– and duh), but I’ll get to it hopefully when I return. Toodles!
