Moving Day!

Uber is going to close down on Monday (I'm guessing that's Tuesday in New Zealand).

I am currently debating whether to bother doing anything with this site (I'd love to, but boy is it lame doing it alone and not very well lol… also I'm a complete nub, I'll admit).

So, please leave comments, either regarding:
1. How I can export my site (or save it or something, without copying and pasting)
2. If you even think it's worth re-doing a site

If you want recipes, I suggest you copy and paste them into Word and save them that way. I've just started tinkering at Wordpress but ZOMGTHEYSUCK and again… nubbage. *hugs* to everyone who has commented, even looked, cooked, or passed me on to a friend. I guess I'll post any over at:

I am now at wordpress - find me at the link below (a few things have changed)…

twospoons.wordpress.com

also, I will be posting word files for download (with most of the pictures, because Uber won't let you take them) at the new site soon.

I feel like I’m soooooooo behind! There are a bunch of pictures in the computer that I have yet to go through. There are a bunch of pictures in the camera (well, in the memory card) that I have yet to upload. There are a bunch of items that have pictures but are still waiting for JS’ and my copy. Aaaaack!

We haven’t had to do all that because we’re having a tomorrow!

Remember, there’s 9 of us here now. Plus, we’ve been living in this for 13 years. And! And! Our beloved Mama is a “little bit” of a hoarder (teehee).

So, there is SO MUCH STUFF!!!!!!

Even though our move isn’t until a month-and-a-half from now, we have to cull a lot of things now. I’m thinking that even though there is SO MUCH STUFF for tomorrow’s already, we will probably need to hold another one.

There is SO MUCH STUFF, we’re going to be spilling ove…

Moving Sale! (and pita chips)

My has always been a hobby.  I guess getting notice that you will be unemployed in two months will trigger odd things in you.  I’ve decided to start the task of getting Sketchy’s Kitchen official.  I don’t know if I’ll ever make enough money to do it as my job, but a business license would allow me to sell things by demand on the web and to local business and families. It’s for two reasons. One, I love to cook, and I end up giving away half of everything I make. Two - I need something to fixate on so I don’t stress about looking for another job.
For those interested, I am an Oracle DBA, Remedy ARS programmer, Cold Fusion and PHP coder, and I have a lot of experience with project management, SPC/Metric Reporting, and change management.
OK — back to baking, cooking, and trying to start a business!  On Friday afternoon we went down to the county govt. facility and started the process to turn me into a bas…
