One of those three things is going to change my life.
I’m talking about
salsify. These little oyster root things are kind of hard to find, but a friend of mine was excited about them, so when I saw them at Central Market yesterday, I picked them up. The texture is similar to that of an artichoke heart and apparently, the taste is as well.
We prepared them with peaches, thyme, lemon juice and a touch of brown rice syrup. Then, we cooked them
