Soups and stews are staples at my house during the cooler months.  I always have a tin of Jacobs Cream Crackers in the pantry to serve up with soups. Another favorite to have with soups is a fresh baked loaf of bread. There are soups and stews that call for something a bit more hearty to go with them. Beef stew, chili and bean soup come to mind.
