So I swear I’m not trying to be smug, but the recession is not really affecting me that much. I still have a job that will always be needed (English teacher), and I still have possession of my most valuable assets (laptop, kittens). I don’t have any stock (I don’t really understand what stock IS, to be 100% truthful…), and I’m nowhere near owning home, what with my $2,000 in checking.
