Supermarkets seem to be teeming with
Santol nowadays. There must be an oversupply because even the Bangkok
Santol variety (the bigger ones) are on sale. The price? 14 pesos a kilo! (around 25 cents U.S.) Being the cheapskate that I am, with the big lure of “SALE!,” I really had to give in to my impulse and buy some.
