snowed here last week. So much so that it finally feels like winter now; which in itself is a double edged sword shovel.

We like winter because in the colder weather we tend to cook slow, comfort foods like the above beef stew. This stew was cooked for 6 hours on very low heat, making the meat tender and flavorful.
