This time of year is the worst for me and I call it the “Winter Uglies”. Gorgeous white snow is now speckled with brown and black gunk and what is not covered with snow is semi-frozen yucky mud. Although I can immerse myself in the new Seed Catalogs and start planning my gardens for the upcoming growing season, it’s nice to have something else to help chase the winter blues away.
