I consider myself extremely lucky that it only took 5 months to properly diagnose me and only one mis-diagnosis. After speaking with my Neurologist yesterday, he said some people deal with the disease for years until they are properly diagnosed.  I really do consider that a huge blessing.  I found out yesterday, my Rheumatologist was wrong.  My supposed RA was covering up something else.  That something else?
