Reading through this week’s TwD recipe made me feel nostalgic. For one thing - Ovaltine? One of my childhood friend’s mom would make us cups of Ovaltine as a snack. The first time I tasted it, I was confused by it - it wasn’t exactly like hot chocolate, but it had chocolate notes and that special malt flavor that I was not familiar with at the time. And Whoppers! I remember receiving Whoppers in my Halloween candy bag and giving them to my mom - they were her favorite candy. (...)
