I guess making your own ice-cream isn’t all that much of a money saver, if you compare it to the cheap brands at the shops. But if you compare it to higher quality ice-creams then home-made fares better - and this is certainly a more balanced comparison surely? Obviously it’s not fair to compare the ice-cream made at home to those that are full of paint thinners (really?) and artificial everythings.
