Talk about a blast into LA’s past, this last weekend we stopped in at the Old LA Zoo and historic Merry-Go-Round at Griffith Park. With over 4,210 acres Griffith Park is the largest urban park in the United States. The original Griffith Park Zoo, founded in 1912, served as home to bears, lions, tigers, elephants, monkeys, goats, snakes, turtles, and birds till 1965 when the zoo moved to it’s current location.
