If after reading the title of this post you thought I am going to talk about
growing herbs in my
kitchen, you are wrong. Totally wrong.
After 4 days in Savannah, I came home and found that an onion that has been sitting on my
kitchen counter for at least a week has started to grow green spikes! That’s not exactly the first time this has happened, but still, I thought that was pretty cool.
The green spikes are not the same as green onions, but they have similar, but stronger, flavor/taste. (...)
