Growing up in New England, Hood Dairy is one of the traditions that I grew up with. Hood milk was always in the fridge, and Hood ice cream was usually the brand of choice to be found in the freezer. The first Hood farm was in Derry, NH, which isn’t far from me at all! Harvey Perley (H.P.) Hood started the farm to guarantee a supply of good wholesome milk.
